Adverse childhood experiences

Too many innocent children and youth are handed adverse childhood experiences. Unless effective interventions are made, these traumatic experiences often result in limited potential for these children to live a joyful and successful life.

Our efforts focus on the most vulnerable youth, including those in foster care and those who have been displaced from their homes.

Displaced Children

We have unprecedented levels of displaced children now, as 1% of humanity has now been forced to flee their homes.

Nearly 100 million have been forced from their homes due to violence, corruption, human rights violations, or natural disasters.

Foster Children

More than 1 in 5 will become homeless, often around age 18

58% will graduate from high school vs 87% of all others

At the age of 24, only half are employed

By age 25, fewer than 3% will earn a college degree vs 28%

1 in 4 will be involved in criminal justice systems within 2 yrs of leaving foster care
